NOVEMBER 20th All Day Scrapbooking Event

Come out and enjoy an ENTIRE day scrapbooking or card making with
friends! Call up your friends and invite them to join you for a fabulous day doing what you love! Imagine an entire day just for yourself!
November is a great time to create some unique Christmas cards. We also offer a variety of Christmas- themed workshops, including 2 Christmas card workshops & a Christmas Tag workshop.
Fernridge Hall is located in South Langley, in a quiet area. The hall iteself
is quite quaint. There is ample room for about 40 ladies to scrapbook
comfortably. Each person will share a rectangular table with a friend,
and sit in a group with more friends, or by themselves- whichever you
request. There are ongoing optional workshops, which you can sign up for
at the time of registration.
Date: Saturday, November 20, 2010
Time: 8 am until midnight
Place: Fernridge Hall (2389- 200 Street South Langley)
Cost: $45
This includes:
Breakfast (Muffins / coffee/ hot chocolate & various teas)
Catered Lunch (yummy soup & sandwiches)
Catered Dinner (pork tenderloin, egg noodles, mushroom gravy, caesar salad &
sliced up baguettes)

This will be out all day, for you to create at your convenience!

2. Snowflake Christmas Card Set $15.00 (made by Betty)
In this workshop, you will create a beautiful set of
6 Christmas cards from one sheet of stamped snowflake paper.
3. Assorted Card Set $15.00 (made by Sharon)
In this workshop, Sharon will make a variety of Cards with you
featuring a baby card, a Christmas card, a male football card and
a child's birthday card using Sesame Street characters.
You will walk away with 4 fabulous cards!
4. Adorable Holiday Lineup Christmas Card Set $15.00 (made by Dunja)
In this workshop, you will make a set of 9 Christmas cards.
3 different designs - elves, reindeer, and snowmen. Super adorable!
You will also create a nice little edible matching gift using peppermint
patties! How amazed your friends will be when they receive their gift!
All items made with matching Stampin' Up Christmas paper!

I'm seeing STARS

I think I was feeling nostalgic for Ruby Red, River Rock, Soft Sky and Bayou Blue when I started this set. I wanted to create something not at all feminine but it didn't turn out as particularily masculine. I only had scraps of River Rock and was lacking in matching ribbon as well so it was a bit more challenging than I anticipated. I planned to use a the inks that matched and a stamp set I really like and have been hanging on to since Spring 2008 {pictured below} but once I got my Big Shot and my Stars #2 Die out all the plans changed. This set was offered with a 5"x5" little album and papers and cardstock stickers in Pumkin and Olive and Bashful Blue which I also still have a few pieces left from now that I think about it. I feel some more inspiration coming on. I enjoyed the kit so much because I made a lovely little album for my elderly cousin Eda with a collection of photos from her yearly family picnics. I put the finishing touches on it in the car on the way there
