Date Extended for Occasions Mini 20088 Stampin'Up! is pleased to announce that they are extending the sales period of the Occasions Mini Collection 2008 through June 30. Because the date for the Spring-Summer Collection 2008 has been extended until August 10, we're giving you an extra month to submit orders for occasions mini products.

Cards for Cancer Class will be held in Whiterock again this year. Spaces fill up fast and it includes fabulous prizes, lunch, great company and lovely cards all made in the company of crafty and interesting women like yourselves. The cost is $25 for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and $10 for the supply fee. The date will be July 16th from 11-2pm at Sea Ridge Bays Clubhouse off King George Highway. It's always lots of fun and the cards are always beautiful. The ladies who organize the event are experienced stampers and have a keen eye that makes their designs a pleasure to reproduce. Above are a few of the cards we made last year.

At the Stampin'Up! regionals last year in Vanouver one of the projects displayed and suggested was an album made with a Simply Scrappin'Kit and I was dying to try one of my own. Here are a few I have made so far! You can tell it's been flipped through quite a bit. Next time I will fold the folder in half and try a pocket type. Stay tuned...

Many things have been going on since I've last been here. I attended Camp Crop-A-Lot and had a fabulous time. I finished working and started my maternity leave early on in March. I learned all about controling my bloodsugar and was reminded how to eat healthier. I visited my family doctor a lot. I peed in jars and was able to have an ultrasound and see my baby and find out the we would be having another girl. Sale-A-Bration came to an end but the fun hasn't. I had my 38th birthday. I made myself a birthday card with the Birthday Whimsy Stamp Set {all images copyright Stampin'Up!} using Regal Rose, Certainly Celery. Easter came and went without too much fuss for us. I was feeling pretty uncomfortable and getting tired by then but there was chocolate involved thanks to the Easter Bunny/Realtor Maura Boguski. Our apartment has been sold. Spring Break was a good break for all of us. On the last day before the weekend to end it I had a beautiful baby girl and named her Avalina.
