Springtime is almost here!

Image
Here's a card I made recently with the Berry Bliss Designer Papers from Stampin'Up! Spring~Summer 2008 Collection. I am surprised I enjoyed making it so much because there was no stamping. I also used the handy Crop-A-dile with the jumbo pewter eyelets and the five flower punch . I love the Chocolate Chip cardstock paired with the Purely Pomegranate and Black cardstock. It was fun to make another square card inspired by a certain group of ladies who I know like to make square cards, you know who you are. All images copyright Stampin'Up!

Whenever I get out the stamps she asks, "Can I help you mommy?", which is very hard to resist. I never realized how much the stamps resemble building blocks! I couldn't resist taking and posting this photo of her and the Simply Said set with a little Always mixed in.

Stampin'Up! Valentines

Here are a couple of Valentine's I been making using my current favorite set Always! The first one on top, uses the five petal flower punch with a jumbo eyelet set with the Crop-A-Dile and various circle punches and some Scenic Route paper on basic black, real red, pretty in pink cardstock with the matching inks too. The second one underneath was a little more time consuming. I used the scallop punch to make the outside edge around the heart with the textured cardstock. I cut up two punched scallop circles and then cut them up some more and attached them to the I used the same colours but I added the whisper white and stamped my own 'paper' to add. The first card gave me the idea for the second one. It's great to make some cards I am so happy with. Last night at work I decorated the office with some of the cards from my vintage Valentine collection. At Christmas one of the girls put stockings on all our lockers in the lunch room and a tablecloth on the table and it alm

For my Stamp Club last month one of the projects we made is pictured here. We used the Enjoy the Moment stamp sets and a 3/4" circle punch along with Chocolate Satin Ribbon, Silver Cord, Pretty in Pink cardstock and inks as well as Almost Amethyst Prints Designer Series Paper. This photo is of my husband Patrick's version which of course is a little different from the actual design because he loves to experiment.
