Retiring Accessories List and other SU! news

All images copyright Stampin'Up!
The pictures above and below are a few of my favorite projects I have enjoyed recently. Some of them were made with other demonstrators {such as Dunja, Lillian or Susan Farrant all pretty brilliant} or at regionals or just at home. I hope you like some of them.

Now Available
There's only a few more days left to order any retiring stamps sets{at 15% off} and any retiring accessories{at 10% off}. Check out the lists at the Stampin'Up! website or contact me if you wish to have a printed list. Some of the accessories and wheels are in short supply as customers and demonstrators are scrambling to get what they need and want before supplies run out or are not available any longer. Don't panic when you see the list. Many items will be offered in a different quantity or assortment in the upcoming catalogue.
* Select individual colour packs of 12" x 12" card stock
* Confetti White & Kraft Tiny Takeout boxes & tags
* Select embossing powder colours
* Select 1/4" grosgrain ribbon colours
* Corner Rounder punch
These items appear on the retired list and will be retired in their current quantity or assortment, but you will be able to purchase these or similar items in a different configuration, quantity, or assortment in the Fall-Winter Collection 2007.
Also I want you to know some of the prices will be going up in the new catalogue so if you can afford to order things that you usually end up replenishing like you favorite cardstock, inks, ribbons or adhesives please order asap to avoid paying a little more in the future. Shipping and handling costs are not increasing.
Here's a little more about the increase directly from the demonstrators web site:
Questions and Answers about Stampin'Up! prices increasing after June 2007.
How much are product prices going up?
Generally, a little more than five percent. For example, a $16.95 stamp set price point (five percent of which is 85 cents) would be raised to $16.95 + .85 = $17.80-which we then raise to the consistent price point of $17.95. This simple formula allows us to recover most of our increased costs.

A few products will have increases higher than five percent to reflect their higher costs of production and demand, or to reflect the fact that a product has been reconfigured to offer more value. For those products, such a change warrants an increase on that product large enough to cover the increased value as well as rising costs.
When was the last time you had a price increase?
We have not had a general price increase in well over ten years. We have held price increases on catalog merchandise to single items or categories of items that reflected specific increased costs of production for those products (2000-2001's stamp set price increases and last year's paper price increases are examples). However, in over ten years, there has not been an across-the-board price increase at Stampin' Up!
Please call me if you want to stock up on any cardstock, inks, ribbons, or adhesives at the old price{discounts mentioned above applies}right away!
