JULY PAPER PUMPKIN: THANKS A LATTE
There’s a whole “latte” to love about the July Paper Pumpkin kit. It’s trendy, vibrant, and versatile. Don’t you love the sweet little succulents? Has anyone else noticed that succulents are everywhere right now? They’re everywhere! What’s not to love? They’re beautiful, enduring, and they come in all kinds of shapes and colors.
We “planted” our succulent in a timeless teacup/latte cup to create a classic, vintage vibe. (Side note: if you’re looking for a fun project, just search “teacup garden” online for some adorable inspiration. Enjoy!) The teacup led to some great accents like the tea bag and steam images. We also love the sentiments that you can keep using again and again in your other stamping projects.
The stamp set includes line art and solid images, and the kit includes two Classic Stampin’ Spots, Early Espresso and Cucumber Crush, so you can customize and layer your stamping. The stickers, background paper, paper clip, bow, and striped envelopes all come together for a totally eclectic look!
As always, we love to share a few other ideas with you, just to show you how much you can do with Paper Pumpkin.
Our artist stuck with the same color scheme and pulled in some of the Basic Gray striped paper from the Neutrals Color Collection (item 138435) to create two new cards. The stamped succulent makes a nice background for the teacup on the larger card.
And the layer of Cucumber Crush Cardstock adds a little pop of color on the smaller card. Get creative with the paper that comes with the kit to cut out a pot for the plant. And if you’re extra patient, fussy cut around the plant outline.
While it might be a little tricky to deliver a hot latte to a friend, why not deliver some treats in a foam cup? Stamp a quick tag and add some Calypso Coral Thick Baker’s Twine (138412), Bermuda Bay Sequin Trim (137910), and 2014–2016 In Color Designer Washi Tape (138382) to finish it off.
Don’t be sad when your cup is empty or when your kit runs out, just order a refill. Enjoy!
