Upcoming 2010 Summer Mini Catalogue!

Image
May 1st-August 31st, 2010 There are so many fabulous new stamps in this year's Summer Mini Catalogue and plenty of other new products to boot! Just wait until you get your hands on them! You'll have a blast creating invitations or scrapbook pages with Sweet Scoops. You'll laugh out loud when you read the sayings in Favorite Thoughts set. Summer is a great time to stamp and create and I always seem to take more photos in the summertime. I guess it's all the time spent outside doing memorable things in the sunshine. Check out the new wheel builders, Smooch Sprintz, a la carte stamps, Canada Day stamps, designer albums, chalkboard decor elements, more satin ribbon and more. Plus we have new dsp, buttons, punches, stencils, dies and embossing folders too! Also you can take a second look at our Build-A-Bear line and Simply Adorned customizable jewelry.

Simply Adorned

Image
Our Simply Adorned line beautifully combines the best of two worlds: stamping and jewelry! We designed our Simply Adorned charms to hold a creation you design yourself, making your jewelry truly unique. Simply Adorned charms are lockets--they open up so you can insert your custom stamped image. The Charming stamp set, along with Rub-Ons, glitter, ribbons, and other embellishments, can help you create your unique charm insert. And don’t forget that you can embellish the chains with ribbon, felt flowers . . . the possibilities are endless! The frame surrounds tempered beveled glass on the front and flat glass on the back. Because there’s glass on both sides of the charm, you can display an image on one side or both. You can create a custom heirloom piece that you’ll never want to change, or you can swap artwork in and out, depending on your mood and your wardrobe. Although we designed Simply Adorned charms to be jewelry, they also make delightful key chains or Christmas tree ornament...

Colour Update!

Image
A Colour Renovation! This is super exciting news! All the colour families have been revamped with 5 NEW beautiful colours, Returning In Colours. Of course some of our favorite colours will be retiring. Our new colours are so rich and deep. One exciting part of this Colour Renovation is the re-naming of one of my very favorite cardstock colours! Kraft cardstock has a yummy name now! CRUMB CAKE! I am looking forward to seeing the Marina Mist and the Early Espresso! I am also happy about the returning Baja Breeze and the Pink Pirouette! Here are the colors in all their glory:

It's a Colour Renovation!

I was asked to prepare two cards with flower themes for a friends bridal shower last weekend. We needed ones we could do most of the preparations ahead of time so ladies could slap them together quickly as although the bride loves scrapbooking and cardmaking it was not the focus of the shower. The shower had a garden theme and the decorations were very pretty in red like roses and a dark purple. I had fun making up the kits for these sweet and simple cards that could be put together and stamped by beginners and loved by novices as well. The great thing was I was able to bring minimum supplies and not worry about sales and just enjoy the company of the other women and look forward to stamping with them. Several of them had experience and were past customers. I love the colours and am pleased with how the cards turned out.
